You have experience working directly with software engineers to deliver customer facing technology products. You will have unique understanding of digital B2C products and data platforms that includes customer behavioural patterns, app development frameworks, screen size optimizations, OS specific features, and app performance. You are technically savvy and can weigh in on the pros and cons of a technology choice while providing your opinion on trade-offs. You will practice a high degree of judgement based on data and a deep understanding of app development space. Key job responsibilitiesAs a Principal Product Manager- Tech for the Prime Video App Experience team, you will work on building PV experiences across Living room, web and mobile, across geographies and be responsible for cross-client initiatives such as telemetry excellence and customer retention. you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market. You will develop and grow product opportunities, and enhance our customer experience. About the teamPrime Video Global App Experience team are responsible for building the Prime Video apps on web, mobile and living room devices. We are responsible for building simple, intuitive, fast, responsive and a personal streaming experience for customers using the latest technology and at the centre of where everything comes together within Prime Video. Basic qualifications- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent experiencePreferred qualification - Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement- MBA, or Master's degreeAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
