What You’ll Do

    A day in the life

    • Carrying out daily safety inspections and supporting risk assessments across operational areas
    • Observing workplace activities to identify potential hazards or unsafe practices
    • Collecting, analysing, and reporting safety data to help identify trends and opportunities for improvement
    • Supporting incident investigations and contributing to corrective or preventive action plans
    • Assisting with safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to promote safe working practices
    • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure safety procedures are followed and understood
    • Helping to review and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Monitoring the implementation of safety improvements and recording progress in documentation or tracking systems
    • Using digital tools and software to manage safety audits, reports, and training records
    • Participating in projects aimed at enhancing safety culture, sustainability, and wellbeing on site
    • Continuously learning from mentors and applying new knowledge to keep people safe every day

    Basic Qualifications

    To qualify for this programme, you must:

    • You are a UK national, or a non UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national and have settled status in the UK, and have lived in the UK or an EEA, or British overseas territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship (September 2026)
    • You will be resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
    • You are not registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2026 or later
    • You will be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026)
    • Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until May 2028)
    • You have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): Including Maths and English
    • If your qualifications were gained outside of the UK you must provide a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC to confirm eligibility.
