Our IT Support Engineer in Amazon\’s Operations teams take care of the various IT systems at the heart of our operational sites.
As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll work at a logistics site alongside colleagues, remote support teams and the business to offer a crucial IT support function. Our team approaches work as seeing no job as too small and no challenge as too big!

Key job responsibilities
– First level of technical support for the Operations of the Fulfillment Center, covering a multitude of technical disciplines. You\’ll support multiple buildings around the area.
– Allocating and maintaining IT equipment, managing multiple customer requests simultaneously.
– Troubleshooting of IT related equipment, such as PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients, printers and other end user devices.
– Responsible for the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and repair process for devices under warranty.
– Learning new technologies and participating in career development opportunities within the IT network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
– Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
– Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
– High school or equivalent
– Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications.
– Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, days and nights.
– Ability to lift 50 lbs /22 kgs, as well as to stand and walk for 10-12 hours at a time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
– Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
– Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
– Ability to manage high priority projects
