Role Overview
A growing building services consultancy is seeking a Graduate BEMS Consultant to support the delivery of Building Energy Management Systems, controls and smart building consultancy services across a varied client base.
Working alongside an experienced team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to surveys, design support, tender activity, commissioning, optimisation and client reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support BEMS and controls surveys, producing clear findings and client recommendations.
- Assist with feasibility studies, specification reviews, technical evaluations and energy management activity.
- Contribute to concept design, tender support, cost review and contractor evaluation.
- Support commissioning, witness testing, snagging and project progress reporting.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams while developing consultancy skills.
Skills and Attributes
- Understanding of building services, BMS, controls or smart building technologies.
- Strong technical interest with good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to engage clients, contractors and project teams.
- Organised, self-motivated and keen to develop within a consultancy environment.
- Good IT skills with the ability to produce clear reports and technical documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- HNC, degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, mechanical, building services or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience or exposure within BMS, controls, building services, systems integration or consultancy would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Trend, Tridium or Niagara would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Based in London with travel to client sites as required; training and development will be provided.
