As part of Amazon’s External Fulfillment (EF) team in Turkey, the City Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful seller launches and readiness for EF programs. This includes conducting warehouse management system (WMS) product trainings, aligning sellers on how the program will benefit their business growth, and resolving all launch-related issues on the ground. The role requires close coordination with business teams, account managers, program managers, product and operations teams, as well as third-party carrier partners to ensure a seamless and timely launch experience.
This is a high-impact, field-focused role that will involve daily site visits to seller warehouses, carrier hubs, and external fulfillment locations. You will represent Amazon in the field—training sellers and associates, validating operational readiness, and acting as a key point of contact during the onboarding phase. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting launch blockers, maintaining documentation, and escalating issues to ensure timelines are met. The City Manager will be expected to track progress, drive continuous improvement, and build strong relationships with sellers and third-party partners to support long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site visits to seller warehouses and carrier hubs across Turkey
- Deliver WMS product training and onboarding sessions to sellers and their associates
- Ensure sellers are fully briefed on EF program benefits and operational expectations
- Coordinate closely with account managers, program managers, product, and operations teams
- Partner with third-party carrier providers to ensure seamless transportation and handover
- Identify and resolve launch-related issues in real time, escalating as necessary
- Maintain detailed documentation of seller readiness, performance, and launch timelines
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with sellers and external stakeholders
- Track post-launch performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the single-threaded owner for new seller launches within your assigned region
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to travel as this role requires seller visits 90% of the time
- Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal
- Exposure to trouble shooting and unblocking problems for sellers, carrier partners and operations
- Good understanding in data for deep dives and problem solving
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Under-graduation degree is preferable for the role
- 100% commitment to have on-ground site visits as sellers prefer on-ground support
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail
