Overview
Senior Solutions Architect, Gaming Solutions Architecture, UK role at AWS. AWS is looking for experienced and motivated technologists with expertise in cloud technologies, AI, Generative AI, and data analytics to join our UK Solutions Architecture team.
Our Solutions Architecture team is a diverse group of technologists from various backgrounds. We work with AWS customers in the Gaming and Betting & Gaming industries to understand their needs and challenges, and to provide tailored guidance on how to best utilize AWS technology to create business value and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to accelerate complex projects and align technological solutions with their long-term business objectives
- Develop relationships with customers, including C-suite and Line of Business stakeholders, to establish yourself as their trusted advisor
- Share the voice of the customer to inform the roadmap of AWS features
- Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures
- Educate and evangelise about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, public speaking, etc.
- Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes and your interests
What you will do
A typical day may include preparing for customer meetings, reviewing goals, discussing challenges, and offering strategic advice. You will dive into customer architecture, collaborate with internal teams to design solutions, lead workshops, and share best practices through content and reference architectures for use cases such as AI/ML, serverless and containers, analytics, DevOps, and security.

In this role you will be the voice of the customer, inform AWS feature development, and collaborate with account management, professional services, support, and partners. AWS values diverse experiences and encourages applicants who may not meet every listed qualification.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor\\\’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or professional/military experience
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or internet industries
- Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities
