The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a ProServe Cloud Architect, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions. You will be a key player in the sales process, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer's cloud journey.
You will collaborate closely with our Business Development Managers, AWS Strategic Customer Engagement (SCE) teams, ProServe Account Executives, Delivery Consultants, and Account Teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions. Operating as the liaison between ProServe Account Executives and our Delivery Teams, you will ensure proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and leverage the full capabilities of ProServe and our partners. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and solutions to address their challenges.
Your experience in the technology/consulting sector will enable you to architect complex, scalable, and secure cloud solutions tailored to each customer's needs, translating technical concepts into business value. Success in this role is measured by impacting the signing of Statements of Work (SOWs) and successfully implementing solutions that achieve customer business outcomes. Performance will be measured against key metrics including but not limited to Revenue, Billable Bookings, and deal cycle duration.
Responsibilities- Designing scalable, and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
- Providing technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phases
- Collaborating with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Support proposal development by contributing technical inputs, solution assumptions, and risk considerations under guidance from senior team members

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or experience in a relevant field
- 3+ years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or experience in a relevant industry working within technology teams
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
- Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
- AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification, or Associate's degree or above
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale architecture patterns, migration frameworks, or cloud adoption methodologies
- Exposure to regulated industry environments such as Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing
- Interest in developing business acumen and understanding how technology drives measurable outcomes
