The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results‐oriented individual to join as Grid Delivery Manager. In this role you will be responsible for delivering large‐scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines. You will work closely with design engineering, construction, planning, environmental, and real estate teams to ensure delivery on tight timelines. Stakeholder management and weekly reporting on key project risks and issues to senior management, director, and vice‐president level will be part of your responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver large‐scale HV/MV grid interconnection projects across EMEA on time and within budget.
  • Drive the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardize processes, develop tools for execution and support financial budgeting.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with design engineering, construction, planning, environmental, and real estate teams.
  • Report weekly on project risks and issues to senior management, director, and vice‐president level.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering HV/MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization.
  • High‐level technical understanding of critical HV/MV infrastructure projects including substations, cables and overhead lines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver with diverse teams.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships, reporting to senior leadership, and operating under tight deadlines.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus.
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive with partial information and high levels of ambiguity.
  • 5+ years of experience building power substations working with utilities and understanding their environment and culture.
  • Experience analyzing cost/benefit trade‐offs across a strategic portfolio.
  • Experience managing international teams is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure.
  • Master's Degree (MBA/MS) preferred.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
  • Experience working for utilities and with or for energy regulators.
  • Ability to communicate in additional languages.
