Key Job Responsibilities- Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.
- Creating/attaching labels and barcodes.
- Managing inventory of related materials.
- Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.
This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations. Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations). Regularly work at heights and from ladders. Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.
Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of networking, fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of server hardware and components.
