Key job responsibilities
As a Linux Administrator, you will troubleshoot, innovate fixes, keep software updated, and provide metrics to manage service capacity and efficiency. You will use your networking knowledge to troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement system design best practices focusing on security, scalability, reliability, resilience, efficiency, and performance.
You should communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and change. Customer obsession and quick resolution of pain points are essential.

Basic Qualifications
- Advanced Linux system administration skills
- Experience with systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, etc.
- Understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
- Troubleshooting skills at application, network, and host levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or relevant experience
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and design
- Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible
- Performance testing and tuning experience
- Experience in 24x7 production environments
- Monitoring framework experience (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, etc.)
