About The Role
The Data Centre Infrastructure Operations organisation is looking for an individual with proficient computer and communication skills to support our Facility Operations Centre (FOC). The FOC monitors data centre physical infrastructure 24/7/365 from a central monitoring location. The team ensures optimal customer experience through consistency, reliability, and attention to detail. You’ll join a diverse team of engineers to deliver safety, security, and capacity at the lowest possible cost while experiencing an inclusive culture.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Monitor, acknowledge, and respond to data centre infrastructure alarms.
- Create tickets for infrastructure issues and escalate to on-site teams.
- Validate and process change-management requests.
- Escalate infrastructure issues to external vendors.
- Facilitate the response to on-site events.
- Serve as a point of contact (POC) for internal and external teams.
- Assist with the development of communication and escalation protocols designed to improve team performance.
- Assist with the development of tools that will enhance team performance.
Basic Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data center engineering.
Security Clearance
You will need to be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Clearance.
