We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team, where you will give us the visibility we need to drive Amazon forward. The Volume and Mix Finance team continuously pushes improvement in our inbound and outbound metrics, including optimising inventory placement, processing efficiencies, maximising speed and minimising distance travelled with the aim to deliver an excellent experience to our customers. This role gives you the opportunity to see how we make business decisions as you gather all the insights that we need to shape our future. As a Finance Manager, you are a quick thinker: able to manage competing priorities while providing level-headed guidance, even during unexpected events.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
- Accurate reporting of EU level strategic projects, sharing financial analysis with business partners, making recommendations to reduce costs or optimise operational metrics further.
- Create meaningful reports to support with strategic decision making through data collection and analysis.
- Via root cause analysis, deep dive variances to budgets for the network, identifying risks and opportunities.

Amazon Supply Chain forms the backbone of the fastest growing ecommerce business in the world. The sheer growth of the business and the company's mission 'to be Earth's most customer-centric company' makes the customer fulfilment business bigger and more complex with each passing year. The Volume & Mix Finance team is responsible for ensuring that the planning and execution of the EU fulfilment is implemented in the most cost optimal way.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field.
- Relevant experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
- Relevant experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL or Tableau.
- Relevant experience in financial modelling.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced or master's degree in finance, economics or mathematics.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organisation.
- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
