Amazon is seeking an exceptional VAT Manager to join our team in a VAT advisory role supporting Amazon Business, primarily covering B2B EU VAT/invoicing topics. The successful candidate will be keen to gain a deep understanding of Amazon's business model and end-to-end systems, will take ownership of projects, is able to deliver on tight deadlines, and enjoys collaborating across business, tax, and technology teams.
A day in the life:
- Assist with the delivery of planning, real-time coordination, and communication of business projects with tax dependencies.
- Identify and define risks, opportunities, and strategies using your expertise and judgment to support decisions with financial, operational, or customer implications.
- Collaborate with tax, business, and tech partner teams, including drafting appropriate documentation to support analyses, decisions, and conclusions.
- Effectively communicate with and influence partner teams.
- Support engagements with external advisors and tax authorities.
This position is office-based.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Recognized professional tax qualification, chartered accountant, or relevant legal degree.
- International VAT experience in both practice and industry, including B2B/B2G invoicing, B2B supply chain, and cross-border supplies of goods and services.
