We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager within Amazon’s Global Base Building Standards & Compliance (GSC) team, within the Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering (cRME) organization. This critical role will be responsible for driving the data accuracy of our base building equipment, the standardization of our global maintenance practices, the maintenance compliance of our operations with all regulatory requirements across the globe, and the development of innovative scalable solutions to deliver a “hands-off” base building maintenance service to Amazon’s operations. This role will report to the Global Lead of GSC.
What You’ll Do:

- Lead strategic initiatives across our facilities portfolio, developing innovative solutions for complex building systems while continuously improving operational efficiency.
- Program manage and support BXM’s flagship programs like (1) Asset Data Integrity, (2) PM Standardisation and (3) Compliance upgrade and regulatory audit program in the Europe and International region.

Your data-driven approach to problem-solving and strong analytical skills will be essential for identifying optimization opportunities across our global portfolio. The ability to influence and collaborate effectively within complex organizations is crucial, as you’ll work across multiple teams and regions. Most importantly, your track record of program management demonstrates you can transform strategic vision into practical, scalable results that enhance building performance and reliability.
Why You’ll Love It:
Here’s your chance to make an impact at an unprecedented scale, transforming facility management across one of the world’s largest building portfolios. You’ll drive innovation in building technology while collaborating with diverse teams spanning multiple continents and cultures. Your work will directly support Amazon’s sustainability goals, combining environmental responsibility with operational excellence. If you’re passionate about innovation and want to leave a lasting mark on the future of facility management, this role is for you. This role requires up to 50% travel.
Key job responsibilities:
- Engage with multiple stakeholders within BXM team, field RME and external stakeholders like the Global Procurement Organisation (GPO), Finance, etc. to develop program plan.
- Identify requirements, develop vendor specifications and lead the tendering and Request for Quotation (RFQ) process.
- Technical vendor bid evaluation and onboarding of vendors.
- Raise purchase requisitions on Amazon Coupa.
- Develop detailed project plan with resource and cost. Identify critical path and risk of delay. Plan mitigation action to eliminate risk of delays.
- Lead project execution across multiple countries, monitor and control project progress.
- Utilise the Amazon CMM system (APM) for project execution.
- Identify risks to quality, scope and time and plan mitigation action. Escalate to senior leadership when required.
- Provide progress reports and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for significant milestones and mitigate conditions affecting project cost or schedule.
You must have high strength in Earn Trust, Deliver Results, Bias for Action and Insist on Highest Standards. You’ll need to influence diverse stakeholders, manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results in cost reduction, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
