Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Key job responsibilities:
- Counsel clients in the implementation of a variety of compliance requirements applicable to the provision of internet access and similar services, such as regulatory matters, law enforcement response, network management, network security and other telecoms related matters.
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.
- Build processes that address risk and allow Leo the flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
Qualifications:
- Experience in legal work.
- License to practice law in Europe, US or other common law jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of post qualified legal experience.
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
- Experience in the communications industry.
