Amazon is seeking a Sr. EU PE Six Sigma Black Belt (Process Improvement Specialist) to work in the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) Lean Team. The Process Improvement Specialist works alongside the FC Senior Leadership Team, collaborating with EU PE and other central functions. This role is responsible for driving high-quality initiatives that embed lean culture within operational teams, promoting impactful, quality work with deep PE involvement to improve our fulfillment network. The PIS aims to reduce complexity at key touch points with partners through simplified reporting, removing overlaps in data sources, and continuous improvement based on customer feedback.
This is a fully on-site role, requiring presence at one of our sites five days a week. The role can be based in Tilbury or Dartford.
Key job responsibilities- Deliver Lean trainings and support sites in implementing Lean methodology for autonomous application in daily operations.
- Lead high-impact continuous improvement projects, including auditing to ensure sustained benefits.
- Mentor participants of Lean Six Sigma trainings and Kaizen leaders.
- Partner with the Learning team on tailored Lean training content.
- Deploy to site management teams during event weeks as needed.
- Travel domestically and regionally (0-15%) as required.
The EU Process Engineering team drives process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network, working closely with various operational and technical teams to enhance performance and implement technological advancements.
Basic Qualifications- A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field.
- Relevant experience in operations, supply chain, transportation, or project management.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Strong experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies, and change management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.
