As an IT Manager at Amazon, you will work alongside experienced, motivated people who have a passion for improving technology. Our managers are proactive and work to make sure our IT infrastructure is the best it can be. You’ll be responsible for driving innovations that support everyone’s experience – from customers to colleagues – so that our systems are efficient, fast and simple. Your work could include supporting your team as they improve operational processes with new hardware, automate manual processes and question solutions to find the best option for the business. You’ll also manage people and help create a dynamic and positive working environment.

Devise and manage projects, including new technology deployments and internal programme.
Manage and solve challenges involving IT infrastructure, such as local site networks, services and hardware.
Support the team with a range of work, including improvements to operational processes, manual work automation and analysis of solutions
Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot IT solutions throughout their lifecyle.

A day in the life
As an IT Manager, you’ll be responsible for multiple sites and work in different settings where no two days are the same. You’ll make sure the IT infrastructure on-site is maintained and operational so that teams can deliver on behalf of our customers. Taking a data-driven approach, you’ll find opportunities to increase automation and efficiency, and pilot different technologies to support these objectives.
You’ll report directly to the Regional IT Manager and will lead on-site support teams, coordinate changes and technology launches, and manage risks. This is a collaborative role that will see you working with site leaders and developing people in your team to progress.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS A degree in Computer Science or another technical field.
Relevant experience in managing IT teams and projects.
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
Relevant experience of creating documents like narratives or white papers to present key metrics and their impact on business objectives.
Relevant experience working with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a fast-paced customer-centric environment, Experience of communicating with teams from different departments and at various levels of seniority
