Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab team is seeking a skilled, customer-obsessed Visual Designer to create brand-focused digital and visual experiences across Amazon sites, Amazon devices and external sites. As a Visual Designer, you are passionate about delivering world-class graphic solutions and customer experiences to worldwide top advertisers. You are imaginative and pragmatic, comfortable delivering exceptional creatives in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate high standards of craft and customer experience into sponsorships. You are proactive with demonstrated ability to move projects from concept to execution and to identify process gaps and drive improvements. You start with the customer and design creative executions including Amazon-owned devices brand and ad placements, maintaining productivity, quality standards and meeting turnaround times.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative UI designs and advertising experiences for global brands.
- Design customer-centered campaigns across Amazon's platforms.
- Lead campaign executions in collaboration with EU/US design teams.
- Optimize digital assets for web, mobile, big screen and other devices.
- Help ensure quality control while working closely with marketing stakeholders, design peers and quality specialists.
- Exhibit ability to follow creative direction and contribute to push the envelope in a constructive, customer-focused way.
- Act as an expert for one or more design categories, helping resolve customer queries, troubleshooting when needed, and mentoring new employees.
- Incorporate analytical and strategic thinking.
- Experience working with multiple partners and stakeholders and communicating effectively to solve challenges and push projects forward.
- Create engaging pitch decks, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Sync with internal and external partners to present and discuss work.
- Independently lead campaign executions and collaborate with the EU creative team.
- Work with Art and Creative Directors to identify new brand opportunities and apply top design skills.
About the team
The Brand Innovation Lab team is the internal group within Amazon that creates one-of-a-kind campaigns and activations for global advertisers. Using the Amazon canvas platforms (Custom landing pages, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, etc.), we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across digital channels and in the real world. The Endemic pod focuses on brands that sell directly on Amazon. If it arrives in a bag or a box, thatβs a brand you could work on.
Qualifications
- Solid graphic design experience, preferably at advertising agencies and/or in-house creative.
- An online portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and visual design excellence.
- In-depth understanding of industry design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, InVision) and a basic understanding of UX design.
- Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign.
- Excellent presentation skills and interactive storytelling ability.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional craft and a proactive project owner.
- Interest in innovation and technology.
- Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task.
Preferred:
- Experience with Webflow, GenAI tools (Fal.ai, Adobe Firefly, or similar), motion design skills, and a track record of cross-time-zone collaboration.
