This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP), where Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Together, they provide customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

AWS is seeking an Executive AI Strategist to serve as a trusted AI advisor to executives at EMEA's largest enterprise brands to help them transform their businesses using Amazon Connect's family of agentic applications. This individual will lead AI Strategy and Business Development activities across EMEA, demonstrating strong ownership and initiative as they collaborate with stakeholders to scale GTM outcomes across the region.

Amazon Connect Customer works backward from the needs of customers to provide a broad array of AI customer experience services. These services deliver personalized experiences across a variety of channels (voice, email, chat, IVR), utilising flexible access to data and applications to deliver exceptional customer and agent experiences. The Executive AI Strategist will define, execute, and own business development strategies that drive adoption and revenue of Amazon Connect within its most strategic customers across EMEA.

You will be responsible for building and owning key programs and initiatives that accelerate customers' ability to deliver transformational business outcomes with AI through Amazon Connect. You will use data, customer insights, and business acumen to navigate complex customer engagements and orchestrate cross-functional stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and business leaders within the largest EMEA enterprise brands.
  • Develop, execute, and own GTM and sales strategies focused on AI in customer experience to grow adoption of Amazon Connect and AWS Applied AI Solutions.
  • Drive alignment across diverse stakeholders including specialist sales, product, solution architecture, customer success, marketing, and the AWS field to orchestrate Connect GTM and strategic pursuits.
  • Capture customer insight to influence product roadmap for Amazon Connect Customer and AWS Applied AI Solutions.
  • Create scalable programs and best practices to unblock challenges and drive growth.
  • Serve as an Amazon Connect AI subject matter expert supporting broader internal teams.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve Amazon Connect's GTM capabilities, operational excellence, and business rhythms.

A day in the life: You’ll dive deep into Amazon Connect adoption data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities, then translate those insights into actionable GTM strategies. You will develop and execute GTM and sales strategies within strategic Amazon Connect customers and prospects. You will earn trust with customer C-suite executives as a thought leader in AI Customer Experience. Your day involves collaborating with both internal stakeholders - sales leaders, product teams, solution architects, customer success, marketing, and partner, etc., and external stakeholders - enterprise C-Suite executives, line-of-business VPs, procurement, and finance - to drive cross-functional alignment that delivers customer outcomes with Amazon Connect's AI capabilities.

About the team

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level - 10+ years of customer-facing leadership experience with Business Application Technologies, including Customer Experience, Artificial Intelligence (AI), CRM, Analytics, Data Applications, Contact Center-as-a-Service, and/or Communications Services.
  • 10+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Product Leadership experience.
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners or equivalent.
  • Experience working with new product/service development teams and their outbound functions.
  • Experience relationship building or leading business transformation at the C-level of Fortune 500 or FTSE 100 organizations.
  • Fluency with enterprise AI use cases in Customer Experience, Sales, Service, and/or Marketing.
