Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. This role requires a flexible, growth mindset and the ability to manage a high degree of ambiguity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating as a player and a coach, setting and achieving key performance indicators as a strategist, and acquiring customers and hitting revenue targets.
The Principal Marketing Lead for EMEA B2B Marketing will be responsible for crafting and implementing marketing strategies that resonate with diverse markets and cultures within the EMEA region. They will need to be comfortable with full lifecycle account-based marketing as well as programmatic digital, delivering regional thought leadership, and executive-focused events.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations. Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government.
Key job responsibilities:- Develop and execute full-funnel marketing acquisition strategies for multiple countries within the EMEA region.
- Run high-value regional evangelism and advisory programs for our top customers across multiple countries.
- Set, achieve and report on sales and marketing key performance indicators, including customer acquisition, conversion and revenue targets.
- Set the strategy, then hire, lead and mentor a future team of B2B marketers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams within the region and our Washington, USA headquarters.
- Work cross-functionally with peers, B2B PMM, Brand, Creative, Research and Operations teams.
- Adapt global marketing initiatives to suit local markets and cultural nuances.
- Optimize Marketing Acquired Leads (MAL), Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) and Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) conversion down the customer funnel.
- Communicate regularly with executive leadership on program effectiveness, campaign results, and marketing strategies.
This is a highly visible, high impact role leading the B2B Marketing efforts for Amazon Leo in the EMEA region. The Head of EMEA B2B Marketing will be responsible for setting the overall acquisition strategy to achieve both a customer and endpoint quote.
Experience and qualifications:- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in marketing or marketing research.
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership.
- Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging.
- Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis.
