Amazon is currently looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking, and analytical Program Manager – Carrier Management to join the Global Logistics Exports team. The Global Logistics team is dedicated to building, managing, and operating a worldwide logistics network that enables B2C cross-border shipments from anywhere in the world and delivers to customers globally, cost-effectively.
The role is a critical function within Global Logistics, focusing on continuously improving service levels, capacities, and costs of our logistics service providers to ensure customer promises are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with 3PL carriers and manage their operations.
- Deliver KPIs related to destination service, including root cause analysis, solution design, and implementation.
- Support Global Mile Operations Peak Readiness Plans, managing the carrier management component.
- Drive the overall destination service strategy for Global Mile.
- Manage internal support teams and develop processes and tools for scalable and flexible operations.
- Collaborate with program managers and business leaders to communicate and influence critical business initiatives.
- Gather and analyze data to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience in program or project management.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Access, and SQL.
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
- Experience in requirement gathering and writing clear, detailed requirement documents.
