Overview
The successful candidate will use their program management superpowers to support the legal team by creating and managing tools, educating and coaching legal colleagues on project management, and designing projects for global roll-out. The candidate will have the ability to see the big picture and incorporate problem solving, strategic thinking, and tactical execution with a focus on taking ownership of improving the team\’s systems and processes. The candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels is essential.
A day in the life
In this role, you will be part of a global team of PMs who comprise the Program Management Organization (\”PMO\”). The mission of the PMO is to raise the bar on project management across the Sales and Marketing Legal org, and to deliver high-impact projects effectively and efficiently. We will use your solid PM skills to help us achieve this mission.
Responsibilities
- As a PM, you will collaborate with your legal colleagues and the PMO\’s customers on projects of varying size, through project meetings, email, and instant messaging services.
- You might work on projects with colleagues in other geos, like EMEA and APJC, which may require flexibility.
- You will work on a variety of projects, such as process improvement, tool builds, creating reporting mechanisms, drafting updates to our internal website, and more.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all stakeholders are informed on project deliverables, timelines, and other pertinent information. You will use your writing skills to share project updates, draft PRFAQs, and other documents as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in program or project management
- Bachelor\’s degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization, and influence others
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP
- Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results from inception to completion
