The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results‑orientated individual to join in the role of Grid Delivery Manager. This position is part of AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) and will focus on delivering critical high‑voltage/middle‑voltage grid interconnection projects across EMEA under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering large‑scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects from design through energization.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and providing weekly reporting on key project risks and issues at senior management, director and vice president level.
  • Driving the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardizing processes, developing tools for delivery execution and supporting financial budgeting.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as design engineering, construction, planning, environmental and real estate to ensure on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a similar technical focus.
  • 5 + years of experience delivering HV/MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization.
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive with partial information and high levels of ambiguity.
  • Experience analyzing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a strategic portfolio.
  • A proven understanding of how to successfully transact business in multiple cultural contexts and experience directly managing international teams.
  • Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure.
  • Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) preferred.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
  • Experience working for utilities and with or for energy regulators.
  • Ability to communicate in additional languages.
