Art Wonderland is an art education studio that provides children of all ages with a fun, warm and nurturing environment to learn art. We engage children through a variety of art mediums and techniques, and connect their learning in the classroom to their everyday environment and experiences.
We are looking for a bubbly, passionate and self-driven art educator that seeks to inspire our young minds through art, to be future creative thinkers.
Responsibilities:- Research, conceptualise and design lesson curriculums for ages 2 - 12 years old
- Leading and teaching studio classes, school programmes with museum partners and external workshops and events
- Involves working on weekends for classes and events
- Explore and conceptualise groundbreaking art programmes
- Loves to work with children and seeks to inspire them
- Is creative and takes risks, but also well prepared for any situations that arise in the classroom
- Agrees with the values and benefits of inquiry-based discussions during art lessons to bring out the creative thinkers in children
- Seeks out new topics and subjects to turn into a lesson to share with children
- Looking to be surrounded by other creatives that believe strongly in art education and bringing art closer to children and parents
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- Diploma either in Fine Arts or Art Education
- Must love to work with children and comfortable speaking to an audience
- Must have experience with traditional art mediums
- A plus if you have any experience teaching and interacting with children aged 2 - 12 years old
