Job Description:
This thriving Legal 500 firm is looking for a solicitor / licensed conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years PQE to work from their office based in Bishopsgate for 3 days per week and 2 from home. You will need to have also gained experience in New Build in order to be considered for this role.
You will work as part of a supportive team and have full paralegal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of residential conveyancing files, with an emphasis on new build property transactions
- Conduct legal due diligence, including title investigations and searches
- Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation
- Liaise effectively with clients, developers, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions
- Manage the entire conveyancing process from instruction to completion within set timeframes
Experience
- Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with a proven track record in residential conveyancing
- Demonstrable experience handling new build property transactions from inception to completion
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in IT tools such as case management software and document automation platforms
