You will need to have gained at least 8 months experience, ideally more.
You will be experienced supporting fee earners with the following:
- Compiling draft contract packs;
- Ordering searches;
- Liaising with other parties solicitors, brokers and estate agents;
- Updating clients on progress of matter;
- Chasing outstanding enquiries.
You will need to have good interpersonal skills, a positive can-do attitude and be able to assist throughout.
Experience of using a case management system is also necessary.
This is an in-office position so you should have an easy commute to Waterloo. This firm offer genuine career progression which realistically will be after 1 year of employment. this can be either via the SQE route or Licenced Conveyancer path. They will not pay the course fees but will support you with becoming a fee earner under supervision and paying you a very good salary in the 40's at this point to enable you to qualify. They will also give you additional study leave days. It really doesn't get any better for those looking to qualify.
