The Role

As Senior SEO & Client Growth Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the organic performance of a portfolio of clients.

You will lead SEO strategy, oversee implementation, provide client reporting and recommendations, and collaborate closely with developers, content creators and external partners.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, support new business opportunities and help ensure every campaign is delivering measurable results.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings, organic traffic and conversions
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data‑driven recommendations
  • Produce monthly SEO reports and present findings to clients
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates and SEO best practices
  • Work with external SEO partners and suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Optimise website structure, internal linking, indexing and crawlability
  • Work alongside development teams to implement SEO recommendations
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and website performance
  • Implement structured data and technical SEO best practices
  • Optimise website content, metadata, headings and landing pages

Skills & experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in SEO, preferably within an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on‑page SEO and link building
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush and/or Ahrefs
  • Proven track record of improving rankings, organic traffic and conversions
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Word Press experience
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Confidence presenting to clients, stakeholders and prospective clients
  • PPC experience
  • UX/CRO knowledge
  • Experience within B2B or local service‑based industries
  • Experience supporting pitches and business development activities
  • Understanding of AI‑assisted content and SEO workflows
