Are you a structured, hunter‑minded Business Development Manager who enjoys opening doors, building credibility and winning new business while working as part of a high‑performing, values‑led team? This is an opportunity to join a global, market‑leading OEM supplying engineered solutions to some of the UK’s most recognisable Logistics / 3PL, Industrial and Construction organisations. The business is undergoing a significant transformation in the UK, investing in people who are proactive, organised and open to change. The environment will suit someone who is humble, passionate and resilient – a salesperson who does things properly and wants to build something long‑term.
The Opportunity
You’ll focus primarily on new business development, supported by a small number of existing strategic accounts, with a clear mandate to bring new customers on board and develop multi‑site, blue‑chip relationships. Customers operate across complex, operationally critical environments where value, safety and reliability matter making this a role for a salesperson who can sell solutions, not products.
Target Sectors Include:
- Logistics & 3PL
- Industrial Manufacturing
- Construction
The Role
- Proactively identify, target and win new customers across the UK
- Develop relationships with multi‑location, blue‑chip organisations
- Lead structured discovery and qualification to uncover operational challenges
- Sell engineered solutions on a value‑based, consultative basis
- Engage stakeholders from Operations, Logistics and HSE through to Director level
- Work collaboratively with applications, engineering and service teams
- Operate in a changing environment, contributing positively to a growing sales culture
Sales methodology training will be provided. What matters most is your mindset, structure and approach.
What We’re Looking For
- A hunter‑profile Business Development Manager
- Experience selling into Logistics / 3PL, Industrial or Construction environments
- Structured, organised and disciplined in your sales approach
- Consultative and credible, able to sell value rather than compete on price
- Humble, resilient and team‑oriented – no egos
- Open to change and motivated by building something rather than inheriting it
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong personal accountability
Why This Role?
- Join a global OEM and recognised market leader
- Sell into a prestigious, blue‑chip customer base
- Be part of a UK transformation journey with real investment and support
- Collaborative team culture with autonomy and trust
- Competitive package: £50k basic, £12k bonus, company car and benefits
