The Opportunity:
- You will take responsibility for developing a warm and established customer base, where there is significant opportunity to upsell, cross-sell and expand share of wallet, alongside a clear remit to win new business.
- Typical deal values range from £10k-£100k, with regular opportunities at £500k-£1m level, supported by a large and experienced service and installation team.
- This is a role for someone who understands engineering solutions and enjoys selling on capability, reliability and lifetime value, not just price.
The Role:
- Develop sales of engineered solutions across various sectors.
- Grow existing customer relationships through upsell and cross-sell of equipment and services.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across target industries.
- Sell complex mechanical solutions, supported by a strong technical and service function.
- Engage stakeholders from engineers and through to senior commercial decision-makers.
- Work closely with internal engineering, service and installation teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- A mechanically minded sales professional or engineer-turned-salesperson.
- Background in mechanical engineering or engineered solutions (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, lifting, offshore equipment, capital machinery).
- Comfortable selling technical, high-value solutions.
- Able to build credibility quickly with technically competent customers.
- Commercially driven, organised and proactive.
- Ambitious, with the desire and potential to progress toward Sales Director level.
