£50,000–£60,000 basic + bonus + company car

Are you a commercially minded engineer who enjoys selling high-value technical solutions and building long-term customer relationships? This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing engineering business operating at the heart of the Marine, Renewables, Industrial and Oil & Gas sectors. With strong momentum and continued investment, this role offers genuine scope to make an impact and progress into a Sales Director role.

The Opportunity:

  • You will take responsibility for developing a warm and established customer base, where there is significant opportunity to upsell, cross-sell and expand share of wallet, alongside a clear remit to win new business.
  • Typical deal values range from £10k–£100k, with regular opportunities at £500k–£1m, supported by a large and experienced service and installation team.
  • This is a role for someone who understands engineering solutions and enjoys selling on capability, reliability and lifetime value, not just price.

The Role:

  • Develop sales of engineered solutions across various sectors.
  • Grow existing customer relationships through upsell and cross-sell of equipment and services.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across target industries.
  • Sell complex mechanical solutions, supported by a strong technical and service function.
  • Engage stakeholders from engineers through to senior commercial decision-makers.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, service and installation teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A mechanically minded sales professional or engineer-turned-salesperson.
  • Background in mechanical engineering or engineered solutions (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, lifting, offshore equipment, capital machinery).
  • Comfortable selling technical, high-value solutions.
  • Able to build credibility quickly with technically competent customers.
  • Commercially driven, organised and proactive.
  • Ambitious, with the desire and potential to progress toward Sales Director level.
