We are a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in South Oxfordshire. Technology plays a central role in our operations, and we are looking to expand our IT team with a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level IT Support Engineer.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in IT within a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment. You will provide first-line technical support to internal users, ensuring systems, hardware, and software run smoothly across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to staff across the organisation
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Assist with user account management (e.g. onboarding/offboarding, password resets)
  • Support IT infrastructure, including printers, servers, and network equipment
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members when required

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technology field
  • Strong interest in IT support and infrastructure
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in South Oxfordshire, 5 days per week

Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

  • Previous internship or work experience in IT support
  • Familiarity with Active Directory or ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial environments
