A school based in Newham are looking for a part time KS2 PPA Teacher to start in September 2026. This is a long-term position and the school needs someone who is able to commit on an ongoing basis.

Job Responsibilities:
- Work for 2 days - flexible with days
- Deliver lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum
- Manage support staff in class
- Work with Year group leaders to support group work and positive learning outcomes
- Deliver lessons as planned and directed by the class teachers
- Leave detailed feedback for teachers
- Mark the work as required
Preferred Skills:
- Hold a teaching qualification with QTS (this role would not be suited to an ECT as the school are not able to provide a mentor/support)
- Have experience of teaching children in KS2 previously
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Have good understanding of Primary school learning, outcomes and recording observations
- Hold a valid DBS or apply for one
