Are you passionate about removing barriers to learning? Our client is looking for an inspirational, non-teaching SEND Deputy Head of Year to provide high-impact pastoral support to students. In this vital role, you will be the champion for our most vulnerable learners, including those with EHCPs and SEN-K needs. Working closely with the Head of Sixth Form and external agencies, you will ensure every student has the care, stability, and tailored learning access they need to thrive.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Advocate for Progress: Monitor the social and academic growth of vulnerable students, ensuring their wellbeing is at the heart of their education.
  • Mentor & Guide: Support students through the critical transition to adulthood, assisting with personal statements and post-18 progression.
  • Collaborate: Act as the bridge between teachers, families, and outside agencies to deliver holistic support.
  • Lead the Environment: Supervise Sixth Form study sessions and contribute to the wider culture through assemblies, rewards, and attendance support.
