The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Are you compassionate and caring with the ability to engage and encourage learning in a Resourced Provision setting within a Secondary school? Do you have an interest in working with SEND pupils (Year 7 to Year 11)? If you have answered yes to the above questions, then we would love to hear from you.

This is a long‑term position that has an immediate start date. The working hours for the role are 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Job responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils on a 1-1 basis.
  • Working with them academically and through activities to improve their development and learning.
  • Be willing to provide additional support for toileting and personal care (this is part of the role, and the school has been clear on their instructions that all support staff need to be willing to cover this).
  • Be willing to work with students who can have challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate will have
  • Experience working within schools, preferably as a Learning Support Assistant.
  • A background in providing personal care for adults or children.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Patience and a calm demeanour at all times.
  • Flexibility.
  • A sound knowledge of English, Maths & Science.
