Part-Time Estate Cleaner

Location: Ilford, IG1 Salary: £13.00 per hour Hours: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, Monday to Friday) Contract Type: Part-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Estate Cleaner to maintain the communal areas across two residential estates in Ilford:

The role involves cleaning communal areas, primarily stairwells and small landings, ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy, and presentable for residents.

Working hours are flexible and can be arranged between daytime hours, such as 9:00am to 1:00pm or 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning communal areas across 9 residential buildings.
  • Vacuuming carpets in stairwells and landings.
  • Dusting handrails, skirting boards, windowsills, and communal surfaces.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors where required.
  • Spot cleaning walls, doors, and communal touch points.
  • Carpet washing when necessary.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout both estates.
  • Cleaning approximately two blocks per day on a rolling programme.
