A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, child‑centred early years setting committed to high‑quality education and play‑based learning. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early years, confident in delivering engaging activities, and enthusiastic about outdoor learning and forest‑school principles.

What You’ll Do

  • Create a safe, positive and nurturing environment for children
  • Plan and deliver play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Support children’s intellectual, physical, social, emotional and language development
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted expectations
  • Willingness to undertake further training

Desirable: Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, DSL training, experience in a senior/room‑leader role.

Safeguarding

An Enhanced DBS (with barred‑list checks) is required. Applicants must be familiar with Keeping Children Safe in Education and safeguarding best practice.
