We are looking for a reliable and skilled Caretaker to join our on-site team in E7. This is a single-site position, so driving is not required. The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to keeping the building safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and minor repairs, including:
- Mastic and grout work
- Tile replacement
- Socket replacements
- Smoke seal installation
- Door self-closers
- Carpet bars
- Light bulb changes
You will report directly to the on-site Housing Officer, who will assign repairs and tasks from the office.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or building support role.
- Strong practical skills and confidence in carrying out minor repairs.
- Ability to diagnose basic plumbing/electrical issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
