You will join

Amaris Consulting within our engineering consulting scope, supporting spacecraft and payload assembly, integration, testing, and environmental verification activities. As an

AIT & EVT Spacecraft Test Consultant , the role will focus on planning, coordinating, and executing spacecraft or payload-level ground test activities, from in-house integration and testing through to external environmental test campaigns and mission support phases.

  • Your Missions
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute spacecraft or payload assembly, integration, testing, and environmental verification activities during the mission ground test phase.
  • Work as a key member of the core project team alongside the Project Manager, AIT Manager, and Systems Engineer to deliver fully tested spacecraft or payload systems.
  • Coordinate test operators and responsible technical representatives in line with system-level schedules, requirements, and project priorities.
  • Prepare documentation and present technical content during design, test, and project reviews for internal and external audiences.
  • Facilitate and schedule AIT support equipment, including electrical ground support equipment, mechanical ground support equipment, test equipment, spacecraft harnesses, payload harnesses, and ground test cables.
  • Define, implement, and maintain test plans, integration plans, and test procedures traceable to system-level requirements.
  • Oversee and participate in unit, subsystem, system-level, and environmental verification test campaigns, including logistics and facility coordination.
  • Support ground segment commissioning, launch and early orbit phase activities, training programmes, bids, and proposals when required.

Your Profile

  • Experience working with spaceflight hardware, including integrated system testing at spacecraft or payload level.
  • Experience in detailed test planning, scheduling, verification, validation, and requirement traceability.
  • Experience coordinating test teams in dynamic technical environments, including work package planning, resource coordination, and facility negotiations.
  • Experience with flight build, ground testing, development testing, and environmental verification activities.
  • Proficiency in electronic test equipment usage, including RF and communications equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronics principles, material usage in spaceflight environments, EGSE systems, scripting, and Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Academic background with a degree, HND, or HNC in an engineering or science discipline.
  • English fluent.
  • EU-based personal security clearance held currently or within the last five years, and citizenship of a European Union member state or Schengen-associated country.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical writing, presentation, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, accountability, flexibility, and pragmatic decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, support irregular hours, weekend work, shifts, overseas travel, and site mobility when required.
