Join Amaris Consulting as an

AIT integration Engineer and contribute to high-impact projects within the aerospace and engineering scope.

You will support spacecraft mission teams throughout Assembly, Integration & Test and Environmental Verification Test phases, ensuring the efficient planning, execution, and delivery of spacecraft, subsystem, and unit-level mechanical integration activities.

  • Your missions
  • Plan, execute, and deliver spacecraft, subsystem, and unit-level mechanical integration activities throughout AIT and EVT phases.
  • Support spacecraft mechanical integration and test planning in coordination with mission teams.
  • Contribute to spacecraft electrical integration and test planning when required.
  • Support harness and test cable definition, manufacturing follow-up, and integration readiness.
  • Coordinate cleanroom logistics and maintain safe, tidy, and compliant working practices in the AIT cleanroom.
  • Provide general AIT and EVT support, including potential overseas project activities.
  • Liaise with mission teams, external clients, and technical partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Contribute to training programmes and present technical updates during design, test, and project reviews.

Your profile

  • Experience in spacecraft mechanical integration, AIT, EVT, or hands-on work with space flight hardware.
  • Experience in workload planning, scheduling, execution, delivery, follow-up activities, and verification or validation of requirements.
  • Knowledge of mechanical integration standards, inspection regimes, mechanical test equipment, and ideally electrical, electronics, or RF communications systems.
  • Practical ability to perform flight build, ground testing, and development testing activities in regulated technical environments.
  • Academic background in engineering or science, such as an HND/HNC, or at least four years of demonstrable hands-on experience.
  • EU-based personal security clearance held currently or within the last five years, and citizenship of a European Union member state or Schengen association country.
  • Strong attention to detail and safe working practices are demonstrated in daily activities.
  • Communication, teamwork, and stakeholder coordination skills support effective collaboration with technical teams and external clients.
  • Flexibility, pragmatism, and availability for irregular hours, weekend work during peak workload periods, and overseas travel are required.
