Your missions:
- Supervise and support local project managers on mechanical and electrical installation works (HVAC systems, pipework and plumbing, electrical containment, cabling, terminations, plant and equipment installation).
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, RAMS, and relevant standards/regulations.
- Monitor and control the schedule as per the project’s construction programme.
- Monitor progress and report delays, variations, or technical issues; maintain daily site records and progress reports.
- Enforce site health & safety procedures and company safety standards; attend supplier‑led task briefings and toolbox talks.
- Ensure RAMS and good practices are followed; liaise with local FM teams for LOTO processes; stop unsafe works and elevate safety concerns.
- Ensure installations meet design intent, specifications, and statutory requirements; carry out quality inspections and checks; oversee snagging, defect resolution, and re‑work.
- Ensure correct M&E materials and equipment are available; check deliveries; ensure correct storage and protection; monitor use of specialist tools and plant.
- Liaise with principal contractor site team, design engineers, commissioning managers, and other trade supervisors; raise and help resolve technical queries; attend site coordination meetings and progress reviews.
Your profile:
- Experience supervising M&E works on live construction sites.
- Background in mechanical or electrical discipline (or both).
- Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Knowledge of M&E systems and installation methods.
- Understanding of M&E health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and schematics.
- Coordination and organisational skills.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (mandatory).
- CSCS Supervisory Card (M&E relevant).
- Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent).
- First Aid at Work certification (desirable).
- Relevant permits and certifications (e.g. HV/LV awareness, confined spaces, hot works).
- English fluent. Additional languages are a plus.
You demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
