We are looking for a skilled Senior Linux infrastructure engineer to maintain and enhance the real-time data systems powering one of the world’s leading banks as our customer. You will handle alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements, ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.
Key Responsibilities- Resolving Data quality issues, including root cause analysis while managing internal and external vendors to resolve Data issues.
- Support On-call, incident management, problem and change managements.
- On-site support of Market Data Infrastructure when needed.
- Ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of Data on a real-time basis while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.
- Work closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience to enrich the team's capability and work together to provide a high level quality of services on Market Data.
- L2 Alert Management, managing alerts from monitoring system that require knowledge for resolutions, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge base, run books, scripts and ITRS rules where possible.
- Incident Management, managing the incident lifecycle from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in the production environment.
- Change Management, managing the process of making production changes to the ticker plant like Mandatory updates which includes content, software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams where only checkouts are necessary.
- Others: Release Management, Event Management, User support, Reporting.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.
- Fluency in English language.
- Highly skilled in Linux System Administration.
- Experience in Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Refinitiv RTDS (Real-Time Data Services), DACS, ATS platforms.
- Scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred).
- Experience with networking and connectivity skills e.g. multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.
- Good communication and oral and written English skills is a must.
- Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT Best practices.
- Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery Management.
