Job Description

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Project Manager – Scientific Infrastructure & Automation to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee all aspects of scientific infrastructure and automation projects, ensuring successful delivery from conception to closeout. You will represent our brand locally, maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external contractors, and provide expert project management services.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and complete scientific infrastructure and automation projects, overseeing all aspects from conception through to closure.
  • Set project deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize project progress.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management regarding project status.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external contractors.
  • Represent the Amaris Consulting brand locally and provide project management services to customers.
  • Lead and direct the work of others, leveraging creativity and sound judgment to accomplish project goals.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.

Your profile:

  • Proven experience managing scientific infrastructure and automation projects from conception to closure.
  • Relevant project management qualification.
  • Scientific and/or engineering background.
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015, RIBA, and CIBSE.
  • Familiarity with project management practices and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
