Amaris Consulting is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Contracts Manager by overseeing a portfolio of Engineering Service Contracts valued at approximately Β£5m throughout the Contract Lifecycle, minimizing risk and delivering value to the site.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage Engineering Service Contracts ensuring all contractual requirements, HSE, commercial, and legislative obligations are met.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to identify, define, and deliver service delivery criteria.
- Ensure contracts are managed in a safe, economical, compliant, and ethical manner through a consistent approach.
- Work with Procurement to leverage best value from contracts, utilizing effective negotiation skills.
- Perform routine vetting of Suppliers through Contractor Prequalification and support outsourced vetting processes.
- Foster a Value-Add relationship with Suppliers, managing Contracts from a transactional perspective.
Your profile:
Experience (essential):
- Entry-Associate Level in Contract Management with some experience managing contracts and understanding the different phases from end to end.
- Basic understanding of Commercial Contract Law and what constitutes a contract.
- Commercially aware with a basic understanding of inflation and price indices, comfortable analyzing cost data and calculating impacts to the site.
Skills (desirable):
- Ability to form effective relationships.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in stakeholder management and engagement.
- Result-oriented with awareness of Engineering Operations or Legislative Requirements.
