We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Regional Director to lead and work with our client who are a long established Education recruitment agency with offices spread amongst the UK. The successful candidate will be an experienced Regional Director who has experience of supporting their regional offices across the South and South East of England, covering Chelmsford, Canterbury, Bournemouth and Southampton.
This is a senior leadership role with strategic and operational responsibility for performance, stakeholder relationships, and quality delivery across the region. You will play a key role in shaping regional strategy, supporting educational excellence, and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and oversight across the region, ensuring high standards of educational delivery and compliance
- Lead, develop and support senior managers and teams to achieve performance and quality objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, academies, trusts, local authorities and key sector stakeholders
- Drive regional growth through partnership development, contract management and new opportunities
- Ensure robust governance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance across all services
- Manage regional budgets, resources and performance targets effectively
- Represent the organisation externally as a senior ambassador within the education sector
You will be a confident and credible leader with a strong background in the education sector and proven experience operating at a regional or senior management level.
Essential:- Significant leadership experience within education or a closely related sector
- Strong understanding of the UK education landscape, policy and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong commercial, financial and strategic acumen
- Experience working with multi-academy trusts, FE, training providers or education services
