We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Corporate Finance team in London. Reporting to our Financial Controller, this role is responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining robust financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Prepare quarterly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls, processes, and procedures.
- Mentor and support junior finance team members, promoting continuous development and best practice.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects, reporting requirements, and business initiatives as required.
- ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- 2+ years’ PQE in financial reporting or a related finance role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
- Full-time, office-based position in London.
