Job Description
Deliver professional massage and body treatments to cruise ship guests, providing personalized wellness services based on individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage and body treatments.
- Provide Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and other trained massage modalities.
- Conduct guest consultations and assess wellness needs.
- Recommend appropriate massage treatments and spa products.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Participate in specialized onboard spa training and contribute to guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Completed training in BOTH Swedish Massage AND Deep Tissue Massage.
- Minimum 150 hours of massage training, supported by a certificate clearly stating training hours.
- Qualification from a recognized training institution.
- Knowledge of massage techniques, aromatherapy, anatomy, physiology, hygiene, and client care.
- Minimum 6 months of recent, continuous, relevant full-time employment experience.
- Freelance, self-employed, and part-time experience are not accepted.
- Must be able to provide an official Employment Certificate stating job title, employment period, and employer details.
- Intermediate English communication skills and a minimum 80% Marlins English Test score.
- Experience in professional spa or wellness environments.
- Knowledge of multiple massage modalities.
- Ability to recommend spa treatments and retail products.
