The successful candidate will manage a varied civil litigation caseload, delivering high‑quality legal advice and representation to clients. This role is ideal for a solicitor seeking flexible working arrangements while maintaining hands‑on litigation experience.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to conclusion.
- Advising clients on disputes including (but not limited to):
- Debt recovery
- Property and landlord & tenant disputes
- Professional negligence (desirable)
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in civil litigation (guideline, not strict).
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Client‑focused approach with a high standard of professionalism.
- Advocacy experience.
- Experience working in a small or growing practice.
- Familiarity with case management systems.
- Business development or client‑handling experience.
