Job Description

Background

We are an established health and safety consultancy based in Glasgow. We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Health and Safety Advisors for an ongoing renewables projects on the Essex Coast and the South West of England.

Role

These short-term contract roles will be site based for approximately 7 – 12 months (MON – FRI 7.30 – 16.30). We require someone with significant experience, knowledge and skills in construction safety, preferably with renewables and / or utilities experience.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities / qualifications:

  • A degree in a safety, construction or design related field (preferable)
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum
  • CSCS Professionally Qualified card
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (preferable)
  • Experienced in UK construction safety and / or renewables
  • Significant knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations
  • Experience of working on site within a busy, customer focused environment
  • Able to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Develop strong working relationships
  • Pragmatic and can work independently
  • Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as required
  • Member of IOSH and APS (preferable)
  • Musy have the right to work in the UK

  • Keeps calm and resourceful during emergencies or changes on site

  • Keeps up to date with changes in legislation, regulations, and best practice
  • Willing to attend CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training
