Amalga Limited is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our expanding Maintenance & Projects team and lead the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, commercially minded professional who can bring together people, processes, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Based from either our Heathrow or Gatwick office and reporting directly to the Head of Projects & Technical Compliance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects across our airport and Travel Retail operations.
You will work closely with the Head of Projects, taking ownership of allocated projects from handover and planning through to delivery, completion and close-out.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience working within the airport environment. However, candidates with strong experience in retail fit-out, Shell & Core, commercial refurbishment or construction within similarly fast-paced and operational environments will also be considered.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the delivery, managing teams and subcontractors on site, solving problems and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

- Work closely with the Head of Projects & Technical Compliance to plan, programme and deliver works.

- Assist with pricing, procurement, variations and change control where required.
- Ensure RAMS, permits and relevant project documentation are prepared and in place ahead of works.
- Liaise with airport stakeholders, clients and operational teams.
- Manage the delivery of Shell & Core, retail fit-out, refurbishment and associated M&E and fabric works.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout project delivery.
- Ensure high standards of Health & Safety, quality and workmanship are maintained throughout.
- Manage snagging, handover documentation and project close-out.
- Identify risks, programme pressures and potential delays early, escalating to the Head of Projects where required.
- Provide regular project updates covering programme, costs, resource, risks and progress.
