Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of project scopes, NEC / JCT contract requirements, and commercial obligations.
  • Maintain cost control and budgeting across all assigned projects.
  • Manage contractual mechanisms including EWNs, QCEs and NCEs across projects of different size and complexity.
  • Collate, prepare and update monthly Applications for Payment (AFPs), ensuring all costs are captured, allocated correctly and forecast accurately.
  • Prepare and submit progress and project reports as required.
  • Procure all site materials, supplies and hired-in plant in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure all incurred costs are correctly allocated to the appropriate projects and billed accordingly.
  • Update and manage customer document transmittal systems (e.g., Aconex, Comm4).
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders and quotations in line with defined scopes of work, maintain tender tracker and contribute to pre-contract commercial activities.
  • Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to coordinate, resolve and progress commercial matters.
  • Manage communications with clients and third parties for projects under your control.

Development & Progression:

You will provide both pre- and post-contract services while being guided, supported and developed into a role where you feel confident and capable of running your own projects independently.
